Cable loading hits different... But I still prefer weighted pull-ups with plates 🫡 Here’s the difference 👇 When you use free weights (plates), gravity pulls straight down. The load is constant and predictable. With cables, the tension changes through the range. You get continuous tension and a slightly different pull angle. It can feel smoother, sometimes harder at the top depending on setup. It’s not better. It’s not worse. Just different stimulus. And different stimulus = new adaptation. Would I replace classic weighted pull-ups? No. Would I use this as a variation? Yes. Try it. Feel it. Decide for yourself. Let me know in the comments what you think. #WeightedPullUps #CalisthenicsStrength #CableTraining #UpperBodyPower #PullUpGame

How to do Face Pull 🟢Starting Position Stand facing a cable machine with a high pulley and grab the rope with a closed, pronated grip so your palms face the floor. Take a few steps back until the cable is under tension when your arms are fully extended in front of your face, with the elbows pointing outward. Place your feet parallel and keep your knees slightly bent to create a stable stance. Make sure your head stays aligned with your spine and your torso is tall and upright. All reps start from this position. 🟢Backward Movement First, retract your shoulder blades without bending your elbows. Then horizontally abduct the shoulders and bend your elbows to pull the rope toward your face. Once your upper arms line up with the frontal plane of the shoulders, externally rotate your arms and continue pulling until the center of the rope comes close to your face. 🟢Forward Movement Let your upper arms internally rotate, your elbows extend, your shoulders horizontally adduct, and your shoulder blades protract to return to the starting position. Keep your head, torso, and whole body steady throughout the movement. At the end of the set, step forward to gently return the weight stack to rest. 📚 Source: NSCA Resistance Training Technique Manual #fitness #personaltrainer #facepull #tutorial #lafitness

POV: You’re trying to solve a problem at work with a YouTube tutorial… and you’re already 3 steps ahead (in the wrong direction). 🎧🔌 “Please do not pull out the black cable.” …too late. “If you have already done so, do not plug it back in.”💀 #War#WarehouseLifec#TechFailsS#AVSetupe#EventProductionh#BehindTheSceneso#ProductionLifeu#SoundCheckb#CableManagementc#TechTokr#WorkFailsV#POVWorkEditione#EventCrewe#SpeakerSetupu#YouTubeTutorialsl#RelatableContentr#WorkplaceHumourC#AVCrewo#ProductionFailsS#BTSWorkrporateComedy

Cable Pullthroughs 🍑 such a good exercise for the hamstrings and glutes 🤗 another variation for the deadlift (I find these a lot easier on my lower back) TIP ➡️ it’s all in the hips. Push you bottom back and forth. Most common mistake is bending the knees and making it look like a squat. STOP Pulling With Your Arms! ❌ The Only Cable Pullover Fix for HUGE LATS! Stop making the Lats Pullover a Triceps exercise! 🤯 Save this guide for your next Back Day! The Cable Rope Pullover (or Straight-Arm Pulldown) is an incredible isolation exercise for building that wide, thick V-Taper, but most people miss out on Lat Growth by using the wrong angle and posture. ❌ The Mistakes: Too Upright: Standing straight up limits the stretch and contraction on the Latissimus Dorsi. Lax Core: Letting your lower back hyperextend (arch) risks back injury. ✅ The Perfect Fix for Back Gains: Hinge Forward: Initiate a hip hinge to lean forward, locking your torso into a 30-45 degree angle. Core Tight: Brace your core to keep your spine neutral. Arm Focus: Keep a slight bend in the elbow and focus entirely on pulling with your Lats (pulling from the elbows) and achieving a full sweep back.
