Power Snatch - Quel est le défaut technique ? ❌ Lever les fesses trop vite ✅ Lever les hanches et les épaules en même temps ___________ Power Snatch - What is the flaw ? ❌ Lifting the hips too quickly ✅ Lifting the hips and shoulders at the same time . . . #snatch #thomaslggcoaching #thomasweightlifting #thomaslgggym #crossfit #crossfittips #Fitness #Gym #Workout #FitnessMotivation #Training #Fit #Bodybuilding #Motivation #WOD #Weightlifting #Health #Strength #Technique #skill #practice #cardio #competition #crossfitcommunity #functionalfitness #liftheavy #hybridathlete

💪 Differences between Muscle Snatch and Power Snatch! 🏋️♂️ In today’s video, we break down two key snatch variations: 🏋🏻♂️ Muscle Snatch: This snatch variation emphasizes pure strength. The barbell is lifted overhead in one fluid motion without any rebending of the knees, catching it in a fully extended position. Great for building upper body power! 🏋🏼♀️ Power Snatch: In this version, after the initial pull, the bar is caught in a partial squat. The focus here is on speed and power, allowing you to lift heavier loads. Master both to elevate your Olympic lifting game! . . . . . #CrossFit #Weightlifting #Snatch

62 kg (136 lb) Power Snatch double from @morganwmillican⠀ ⠀ This was Morgan's 3rd double with 62. Coming off the floor was giving her trouble; either the bar rolled away, or her hips shot up, or her back wasn't quite getting set.⠀ ⠀ I personally think this was the best of 3 sets, and after Power Snatching 62 5 times prior to the last attempt, her pull was just starting to get fatigued. This is most likely why the last rep was slightly forward.⠀ ⠀ Very happy with how high she's receiving these!

The key to a good power snatch is to treat it like a snatch caught high 🤯 What I mean by this is the technique should remain the same for both. Ultimately the power snatch is used to improve speed and turn over of the classical snatch as an accessory movement. It doesn’t often get used in the way because people power snatch because they can’t snatch! If this is you don’t worry it’s not your fault it’s your coaches for not helping you address your technique and your mobility at the start! Don’t worry it’s fixable. Checkout my story later today and i will show you how we solve it @liftingzone 💪

*STOP USING YOUR ARMS* We recommend using straps for this exercise to keep the arms relax, to exaggerate that weightless feeling of the bar. The same extension and pull is used like a snatch and clean pull, where the lifter will stay at the top of the pull until the bar comes back down again. This time, with a lighter weight, the arms will bend naturally and weight will continue to rise up. By focusing on a hard extension, the lifter can focus on driving the weight just as they would for a snatch. #snatchhighpull #snatchpull #snatch #cleanandjerk #cleanpull #olylifting #weightlifter

The 3-position snatch 🏋🏼♀️ This is a fantastic complex to develop better awareness & strength in all the positions we are completing in the snatch by breaking them down: ✅ High Hang Snatch: Is a great movement to develop speed, control and awareness. We’re starting at the top, so we have to really utilise our leg drive, by controlling into our down position & driving hard to full extension, keep the bar close to our body and pull ourselves down into our receiving position with a fast lockout. This is going to really build some confidence in your ability to get under the bar. ✅ Hang Snatch: Now we get to really load up our hamstrings and glutes, this is going to give us much more power and speed to put into our snatch. We want to think about controlling to our down position, then as the bar is being lowered to above our knee, we’re loading up our hamstring and glutes, keeping the bar close to our thighs and then with our shoulders over the bar, we now get to drive those legs, sweep the bar back to our hips and finish the same way as we did in the high hang snatch. ✅ Snatch: We’re now going from the floor looking to absolutely nail the 2 positions we just practiced! Get tight in that set-up and trust your positions. #theburgenerway #burgenerstrength #mayhemburgenerstrength

You can simplify a snatch even more than this. And you’ll get varying results depending on athleticism and related experience—everything from a good lift to an absolute disaster with zero resemblance to a snatch. A few more details like this and you can build a solid base to improve from no matter how imperfect the early attempts are. Don’t overcomplicate it… but don’t oversimplify it either.

🏋️♂️ 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 - One of the most technical Olympic lifts, requiring precision, power, and mobility. Here are some key cues we want to highlight to help you improve your Power Snatch: 1️⃣ 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗟 Relaxed arms to ensure leg drive and a tight back to maintain upright posture. This sets the foundation for an efficient pull off the floor. 2️⃣ 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 We drive with powerful legs, fully extend, and shrug. As we jump off the floor, we move our feet quickly into a squat stance to receive the bar. 🔑𝘼 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 3️⃣ 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 We want to pull ourselves under the bar as fast as possible, releasing hook grip so our elbows can turn faster, allowing us to catch the bar quickly. Then, locking out overhead in a stable position. 🔑𝙄𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙠𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙧. 🔥Mastering the Snatch isn’t easy, but with proper coaching and consistent practice, you’ll feel the magic of this lift‼️ #Macau #Snatch #Technique #OlympicWeightlifting #CrossFit #LiftHeavy #TechniqueMatters

👇 #weightlifting #snatch #hipsnatch #tallsnatch #tecnica #halterofilia #entrenar #powersnatch #musclesnatch
