My website has a list of certified loc Healers that can assist you with your locs. You do not have to self maintain. Self maintenance is for people who know they can. Or people who have no option. Purchasing to save money is a bad idea. Yes you can save money if you get it. But what if you don't? It sounds lile I don't want you to buy. Correct. I want you to be informed so you don't dm me saying it's too hard for me. I don't offer refunds. I'm an honest businessman. I am not pressed to hustle people out. I make an honest living and I am very proud of myself. I have amazing courses for locticians and this self maintenance is incredibly detailed. But what's the point of having a lambo if you can't even drive? If you know you can self crotchet, I can assure you, you will not find anything better than this. I show you angles and elbow positioning, how to switch needle placements as you go around the head, how to combine your locs like I did mine, how to fix like you see me fix etc etc. If I said all that at the beginning I would get a lot of people to purchase. But no. I refuse to hype people up knowing well how difficult self crotcheting is. It is not for everyone. If you feel you got it, then get it. If not, I got someone to assist you. A retwist is not ment to be kept in for a whole month. That causes your locs to thin. A retwist does not loc hair. Shampooing does. The purpose of a retwist is to maintain your parts and keep the loc in a cylindrical shape. Retwisting is not relocking. Hair locs naturally. The locking process is natural or triggered by crotcheting. Interlocked hair doesn't quite loc. It's the easiest to comb out. Try it. Shampoo your locs in between your visits. Don't skip your monthly visit. Hair breaks of after being left unattended for 4 months. But if Shampooed, it mats up though in different shapes and sizes uncontrollably. That is why you go to your loc care giver. A retwistician can do this with eyes closed. You should learn how to do it yourself. No products needed. Products do not loc hair or even help to facilitate the locking process. I know my knowledge is not common. But then again I'm the OG. I speak from experience and deep research. Peace out

Separating is absolutely a must for me before washing. Skipping this step just makes my job harder after a completed wash. Before I start, I check to see how much marrying has transpired. Then I proceed to mist my locs down and start the separating process. Make sure you aren’t in a rush when completing this step. Take your time to source the knot and gently separate it.
