یکی از رایج‌ترین خطاهایی که در مسیر ارزیابی استدلال با آن مواجه می‌شویم، «مغالطهٔ منشأ» (Genetic Fallacy) است. این مغالطه زمانی رخ می‌دهد که، به‌جای آنکه یک استدلال بر اساس محتوای خود ارزیابی شود، بر مبنای منشأ یا خاستگاه‌اش رد یا پذیرفته می‌شود. به‌عبارت دیگر، قضاوت ما درباره یک استدلال، تحت تأثیر شخصیت، پیشینه یا گروهی قرار می‌گیرد که آن استدلال را مطرح کرده‌اند. این رویکرد نه‌تنها منطقی نیست، بلکه مانع از درک صحیح و بی‌طرفانه واقعیت می‌شود. در این مورد، تفکر انتقادی به ما می‌آموزد که همواره بر تحلیل ساختار منطقی یک استدلال تمرکز کنیم، نه بر شخصیت گوینده. یک فرد، فارغ از خصوصیات اخلاقی یا پیشینه اجتماعی‌اش، قادر به بیان استدلال‌های صحیح یا غلط است. معیار سنجش صحت و اعتبار یک استدلال، چهارچوب منطقی و شواهد پشتیبان آن است، نه هیچ چیز دیگر. #تفکر_انتقادی #تفکر_علمی #استدلال #مغالطه

These fallacies can be unintentional, due to poor reasoning, or intentional, in an attempt to manipulate others. Understanding logical fallacies is useful because they can be deceptive, and being able to spot them in your own argumentation and that of others is important for critical thinking and constructing sound arguments. By recognizing logical fallacies, we can avoid being misled by unsound reasoning and can construct more persuasive and valid arguments. I highly suggest learning about logical fallacies as they are rampant on instagram, and even present in the scientific literature.
