this is the story of how i became a software engineer! growing up i didn’t know what i wanted to do. i wanted to be a doctor, a teacher and even an olympic swimmer. it wasn’t until i was in grade 11 when i took a course about Java that i really started to consider software engineering. Over the years, a lot of things got in the way of becoming a software engineer. I almost failed my first CS midterm and I didn’t know I had to do leetcode before my first interview. I was a mess.
