HYROX is not what it looks like on social media All you see online are sleds, wall balls, burpees, and heavy work. What you don’t see is that those stations are only 8 out of 16 total segments of the race. Half the race is running. Eight one kilometer runs decide your time. The stations get the views. The running decides the results. If you train HYROX like it’s mostly strength with a little running mixed in, you will feel great early and fade hard late. That’s not a toughness issue. That’s a preparation issue. You have to run more. Here are two examples of running workouts that actually prepare you for HYROX. Workout 1: Aerobic run 60 to 75 minutes easy Comfortable pace Heart rate under control This builds the engine that lets you recover between stations.
