There are a few things we wish you knew when you walk into class. Not to excuse ourselves. Just to let you in on our little secrets 🫣 1️⃣ We are human. Very human. We will mix up left and right (still waiting for someone to pay for my tattoo of L and R) We’ll say words that shouldn’t exist. We’ll confidently cue the wrong leg. But please know this, it’s NEVER from lack of care. Behind that mic, our brain is juggling: your safety your technique the music timing the energy in the room the person in the back who looks unsure We are thinking about all of you. Our intention is always pure. To energise. To motivate. To inspire. To create something that feels powerful and safe. Sometimes that depth of care looks messy in real time. Forgive us. We learn. We refine. We try again. 2️⃣ Most of us are living full lives outside that studio. We’re mums. Full-time workers. Students. People navigating heavy seasons. There will be days we feel flat. Days things feel heavy. Trust me, those days hit us the hardest because we are our own biggest critics. But we still turn up. Because you chose to be there. And we chose to lead. And when we show up together, even imperfectly, something shifts, for all of us always. 3️⃣ If we forget your name… please tell us again. It’s not because you don’t matter. It’s usually because we’re trying to remember: your goals your injuries your progress and everyone else’s too. I literally keep notes. But sometimes my brain decides everyone is called Sarah 💀 Help us get it right. We want to know you properly, not just as “the one in the blue leggings.” (Even though they’re super cute) At the end of the day, this isn’t just choreography. It’s community. It’s imperfect humans moving, sweating, laughing together. And behind it all, there’s a lot of care.
