Do you need to track vegetables for fat loss? 🥦 Short answer: Not obsessively! I actually encourage my clients to eat MORE vegetables because they help with fullness, fibre, and staying consistent. This helps with overall fat loss! Yes, it’s sensible to be a bit more mindful with higher calorie, starchy veg like potatoes, sweet potatoes and corn. But things like broccoli, spinach, peppers, cucumber and salad? They’re not the reason progress stalls. Let’s be real…..I don’t know anyone who became overweight from eating too many vegetables. Focus on the big habits, not stressing over a handful of veg 💙 For more help on your weight loss journey, hit that double tap and follow button!

Most people don’t realize this… You can eat a FULL cup of spaghetti squash for only 42 calories. Compare that to 200+ calories in a cup of regular pasta — and the volume looks almost the same. This is one of my favorite swaps for clients who want to lose fat but still feel full and satisfied. Because fat loss isn’t about eating tiny portions… It’s about eating smarter portions. 💥More volume. 💥More fiber. 💥More satisfaction. 💥Less calories. This is how you stay consistent without feeling restricted. Save this for your next grocery trip 🤍 And if you want help learning how to eat in a way that actually supports fat loss without cutting out the foods you love, send me a message. That’s exactly what I help my clients do.💚🖤 @gothamgreens @raoshomemade

Too many people think weight loss means eating less — it doesn’t. A simple swap that works every time: eat foods that satisfy you without overdoing calories. Kabocha squash is my go-to: Cooked rice — ~200 cal/cup Kabocha squash — ~40–60 cal/cup I get all my organic squash from Oryana Community Co-op and I roast mine with a little organic EVOO and sea salt, then add whatever spices I feel like that day — sometimes red chili flakes, garlic, or onion powder. I love rotating squashes, and my absolute favorite flavor is Delicata — sweet, nutty, and perfect roasted. A simple swap like this can reduce calorie intake without noticing a change in hunger. I can eat generous portions guilt-free — it keeps me full, satisfied, and energized. I build my bowls depending on the time of the month, since I eat different proteins during different luteal phases — this approach keeps meals balanced, nourishing, and aligned with women’s wellness. I guide people in building meals that are satisfying, nourishing, and support their goals — without feeling deprived. It’s practical, real-food-based guidance you can actually use every day. 💌 DM me if you want tips on building meals like this — I’ll be opening 1:1 guidance soon! #WholeFoods #HealthyEating #WeightLossTips #SquashLove #KabochaSquash #DelicataSquash #EatMoreFeelGood #HighFiber #NourishYourBody #RealFoodRealResults #HealthyLiving #MindfulEating #SustainableHabits #EatToFuelNotToFit #NutritionTips #MealInspiration #WomensHealth #WomensWellness #HormoneBalance #FitnessFuel

✨ You can lose weight and still eat butternut & pumpkin... Yes - even the “starchy” veggies. 👀🎃 There’s a big misconception that if you’re trying to lose weight, you need to cut out foods like butternut, pumpkin, squash, carrots, etc. But weight loss isn’t about eliminating specific vegetables… it’s about your overall calorie balance and sustainability. Here are the facts: 🥕 Starchy vegetables are nutrient-dense. Butternut and pumpkin are packed with fibre, beta-carotene (vitamin A), potassium, and antioxidants. 🥗 Fibre helps with fullness. The fibre in starchy veggies slows digestion, keeps you satisfied for longer, and helps reduce overeating later. ⚖️ Calories still matter, but context matters more. No single food causes weight gain. Portion size, total daily intake, and consistency over time are what determine fat loss. 🔥 Sustainable weight loss > extreme restriction. Cutting out entire food groups often leads to cravings and binge cycles. Including foods you enjoy (yes, even “carby” veggies) makes your plan realistic and maintainable. A balanced plate with protein, healthy fats, and high-fibre carbs like butternut? That’s how you build meals that support fat loss and nourish your body. Stop fearing vegetables. Start understanding them. 💛 #weightloss #healthyeating #dietitiantips #dietitianapproved #weightlossplan
