• If you fail any board exam on the first try it's okay! The world isn't over and there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Failure is the first attempt in learning. • You'll still become a dental hygienist. My first attempt was in March of 2024 and my second attempt was in May of 2024. I was so devastated when I found out I failed. I made a 71 on my first attempt. However, I still got my license around the same time as my peers did. • If you have any questions on how I passed the NBDHE on my second attempt and what I did differently leave a comment or dm me. Becoming a dental hygienist has been a journey filled with ups and downs, and today I’m sharing the real story behind the scrubs. There were times when I didn’t think I’d make it—failing grades, being waitlisted, and feeling so discouraged that I questioned if this path was meant for me. But deep down, I knew this was my calling, and I refused to give up. There were days when the struggle seemed overwhelming, but each setback pushed me to dig deeper and work harder. I learned that success isn’t about never falling—it’s about getting up every single time you do. It’s about finding strength in the moments of doubt and believing in your potential even when it feels impossible. Today, as I look back on this journey, I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
