Crusty, homemade bread—ready the same day and so easy! 🥖✨

Crusty, homemade bread—ready the same day and so easy! 🥖✨ This is the bread I make anytime we want something quick at home—or to bring to a friend. 4 ingredients. No kneading. Mix, rise, shape, and bake in a Dutch oven. Ingredients (2 loaves) • 3 cups lukewarm water • 1 Tbsp active dry yeast (or instant yeast for faster rise) • 1½ tsp salt • 6½ cups all-purpose flour Method 1. In a large bowl, whisk water and yeast until dissolved. Stir in flour and salt until combined (dough will be sticky). 2. Cover and let rise at room temp until doubled, about 2–3 hours (or 1 hour with instant yeast). 3. Divide dough, shape into loaves, and let rest 20–40 minutes. Sticky dough is normal—add a little flour if needed. Wet hands lightly if dough sticks. 4. Preheat oven to 450°F with Dutch oven inside. Slash tops and bake: 30 minutes covered, then 10–15 minutes uncovered. 5. Cool at least 1 hour before slicing. This is one of my staple bread recipes, and it’s included in The Homemade Kitchen—your go-to resource for easy, everyday recipes. 🤍

If your bread has 40 ingredients… we need to talk. This one? Just simple ingredients you can actually pronounce — and probably already have at home. Soft, fluffy, and made fresh. No preservatives, no nonsense. Sometimes simple just wins. Detailed recipe👇🏼 Classic White Bread | Professional Bakery Method Yield: 2 standard loaves Ingredients 720g all-purpose flour 480 ml warm water (38-40°C) 2 tbsp sugar 14g active dry yeast (2 packets) 2 tsp salt 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted Method 1. Yeast Activation In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes until fully foamy. This confirms proper yeast activation. 2. Dough Development In a stand mixer bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix on low speed for 1 minute, then increase to medium-high speed and knead for 6-8 minutes until a smooth, elastic dough forms. 3. Bulk Fermentation Transfer dough to a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and rest in a warm environment for 30-40 minutes, or until doubled in volume. 4. Scaling and Shaping Divide dough evenly into two portions. Shape each into a rectangle, then roll tightly into loaf form. Place into greased loaf pans. 5. Final Proof Cover and proof for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough rises slightly above the pan edge. 6. Baking Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown and fully baked. 7. Cooling Remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. Result: Soft crumb, golden crust, and authentic bakery-quality white bread made from scratch. #whitebread #breadrecipe #artisanbread #freshbread #homemadebread

My go-to sandwich bread 🍞 I added as much as I could in this caption, but have extremely thorough instructions on my website. It’s linked in my bio or comment SEND and we can dm you the link. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re intimidated by making yeast bread, this recipe holds your hand through the process! ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -1 cup (240ml) water, warmed to 110°F (43°C) -1/4 cup (60ml) milk, warmed to 110°F (43°C) -2 1/4 tsp (7g) instant or active dry yeast -2 Tbsp (25g) sugar -4 Tbsp (56g) unsalted butter, softened -1 and 1/2 tsp salt -3 and 1/3 cups (about 420–430g) all-purpose flour or bread flour, plus more as needed ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whisk water, milk, yeast, and sugar in the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with a dough hook attachment. Cover and sit for 5 minutes or until foamy. Add butter, salt, and 1 cup (125-130g) flour. Beat on low for 30 seconds, scrape down the sides of the bowl, then add another cup of flour. Beat on medium speed until incorporated (there may still be chunks of butter). Add the remaining flour and beat on medium until the dough comes together and pulls away from the sides of the bowl. If you do not own a mixer, you can mix this dough with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula. Keep the dough in the mixer and beat for an additional 5–8 minutes, or knead by hand. If the dough becomes too sticky during kneading, add 1 tsp of flour at a time. Do not add more flour than you need. Lightly grease a large bowl. Place the dough in the bowl, turning it to coat all sides. Cover and rise for 1-2 hours or until doubled. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Punch dough down. Flour a work surface and rolling pin. Roll the dough into an 8x15 inch rectangle. Roll it up into an 8 inch log and place in loaf pan. Cover and rise until it’s 1 inch above the top of the pan, about 1 hour. Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 32-36 minutes. It’s done when an instant-read thermometer reads the center as 195–200°F (90–93°C). Cool before slicing.

Homemade Bread ⬇️ Recipe below, or comment BREAD and I’ll send it over. Homemade sandwich bread tastes completely different from store-bought. It’s softer, fresher, and has that warm, comforting flavor that only comes from real ingredients. You can control everything that goes into it, which means no preservatives, dough conditioners, or unnecessary additives that help bread sit on a shelf for weeks. It’s also more nourishing. When you bake your own bread, you can use high-quality flour, natural sweeteners, and healthy fats. Ingredients ¾ cup warm water (100–110°F) 2 tbsp honey 2¼ tsp active dry yeast 4 cups all-purpose flour ¾ cup milk 2 tsp avocado oil or olive oil 2 tsp salt Olive oil or spray for greasing -In a small bowl, stir honey and warm water. Add yeast, stir, and let sit until foamy. -In a mixer or mixing bowl, add flour, oil, salt, and milk. Pour in the yeast mixture. -Mix until fully combined. Knead by hand or mixer until the dough is smooth and no longer sticky. -Lightly oil a bowl, shape dough into a ball, and place it inside. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 1 to 1½ hours. -Turn dough onto a floured surface, gently deflate, and shape into a loaf. -Grease a loaf pan, place dough in it, and let rise again until it domes about 1 inch above the pan. -Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake for 30 minutes, until golden and sounds hollow when tapped. -Cool fully in the pan before slicing. Comment BREAD and I’ll send the recipe over! #homemadebread #homemadesnack #kidsnacks #toddlermoms #nourishingfood
