HOW TO GROW TOMATOES? 🍅 This is very easy and effective way to grow them. What you need to do? Take red-well ripe tomatoes 🍅 from your kitchen and cut them in slices. Then lay them on the soil and cover them a centimetre. I have used cocopeat to grow these seedlings because it is very light & porous medium and best for growing seeds too. But if you don’t have Cocopeat then you can grow them in river sand or in normal garden soil too. I have shown a month result of growing seeds in the video and after a month you can shift your seedlings into the bigger pots. What size of the pot to choose? For single tomato sapling you can take 8-12 inches of pots. For two saplings you can take 14-16 inches of pot. For growing them in bigger trays you can grow three in a tray. And if you are growing them in ground them keep them a feet apart from each other. Correct potting mix? Tomato plants are fruit giving plants which means they need good amount of nutrients in the mix. So take 30% RIVER SAND + 30% GARDEN SOIL + 40% COMPOST (you can use vermicompost/manure/leaf compost) It will be great if you add Banana Peel Fertilizer in the soil for better harvest (you can see my reel on it) How to care them? Keep them in sun for fruiting. Keep the soil moist but not soggy at the same time. Shower on plants while watering to make them healthy and look clean. Add compost monthly for good nutrients supply. For pest control you can use SHAMPOO WATER SPRAY on the plants (I have a reel on it too) Till the soil every week for good aeration in the soil. Give them support with stick or rope to stand straight.
