Textured Art Tutorial | DIY Texture Paste A little snippet of my textured art process using my go to DIY Modelling Paste. I have been getting lots of messages about how to use this paste and some of my techniques, so here it is. What I use: ♡Palette Knife ♡Small plastic bowls (I find scooping the paste out of a bowl or container is much faster and less mess than on a flat surface.) ♡ Make sure you Gesso Prime your canvas before painting your background. (This step helps in all textured art and painting. It is to make sure your paint and paste does not drink into the canvas. It can cause cracking so avoid applying petals with your modelling paste on bare canvas.)
