This trick was shown by @ahmettashomcu at one of the festivals. Here’s the challenge: you’re throwing a small vase, but don’t close the neck all the way. Then cut the piece off the wheel and shift it off-center—as far as your courage allows. The closer to the edge of the wheel the vase stands, the harder it will be to close the neck.
