I see a lot of people make and then the experience is simply painful and not that helpful. For lower back pain, check your TFL muscle as it's a commonly dysfunctional muscle. Find the most sensitive area in the muscle, place enough pressure on it that it's tender but not painful, and hold that pressure for between 20-60 seconds until that sensation diminishes by about 50%. Are you just resting and waiting for your back pain to get better? Rest can calm things down. But it almost never fixes the real problem. It might feel better while you are doing less. But the moment you go back to working out, sitting longer, or doing the thing that caused it in the first place, the pain comes right back. That is not because your back is broken.
