Let me share another great brunch spot in Walnut Creek, CA! We’re at @thehangout.wc , and when we arrived, the place was packed with people! Be sure to come early to get a seat. They also have an outdoor area, which is perfect for warm weather. 💜 We started with some refreshing drinks: Cranberry juice, Raspberry Lemonade, a Latte, and our favorite, the Ube Latte. The ube latte was definitely the standout! 🍟 We also got an appetizer, the Morning Poutine. It’s the perfect small bite—cheesy, filled with bacon, fried eggs, and curry sauce. It’s so good! 🍝 For the entrées, we ordered several dishes from their Hangout’s Specialties. The Crispy Chicken and Waffles looked and tasted delicious! We also liked the curry on the Chick Katsu Curry. The chicken in both dishes was tender, crispy, and juicy. We really enjoyed The Hangover, a flavorful stir-fried Italian noodle dish. If you love noodles, this is a must-try! 🍞 If you’re craving for something sweet, you need to check out the sunrise toast or ube pancake (not in the video, but we try it and love it!) Their toast bread was so soft buttery topped with fresh food, perfect balance! ⭐️ But our favorite dish was the Hangout Omelette. This omelette is out of this world and packed with flavor! It has bacon, avocado, tomato, cheddar, and homemade bacon jam. It was amazing! Every bite was addicting, and it easily became our most recommended dish.
