sooo…tiktok loved these cookies so here y’all go🤭 i decided to do a halloween baking series & ofc i had to start with inspiration from my favorite movie <3 episode one: coraline button cookies 🪡🖤 i used another creator’s sugar cookie recipe (angelsweets) on tiktok w/ some personal tweaks! 1 cup of butter (2 sticks of unsalted) 1 cup of sugar 1 1/2 tsp of mexican vanilla extract 1 tsp of almond extract 1 egg 3 cups of flour steps: *preheat oven to 350* 1. add room temperature butter and sugar into a large bowl and mix until everything is nice & fluffy. 2. add a room temperature egg + both extracts until both components are mixed fully into the dough. 3. slowly add in your flour (one cup at a time) until fully incorporated. 4. roll your dough into a ball & cut it into 4 pieces (one for each color) & fold each piece until you get your desired color. 5. roll your dough + place it into the fridge for 20 minutes 6. cut out your cookie, making sure to leave a smaller indent on each cookie to ensure a “button” look. 7. use whatever you have available (straw, cupcake decorator tip, etc) to create your button holes. 8. line a cookie tray with parchment paper & cook for around 8-12 mins. enjoy :) #buttoncookies #coraline #halloweenbaking #baking #explore

Now you can too 👻 Materials needed: - 1 pack of chocolate chip cookie dough - Large marshmallows - White chocolate melting wafers - Decorative icing in black Instructions: 1. Reference baking instructions on the cookie dough package, or use Pinterest to find the perfect homemade recipe 😉 2. While the cookies are cooling, melt white chocolate chip wafers in a microwave safe bowl until fully melted 3. Next, place a spoonful of melted white chocolate to the center of each cookie to affix marshmallows to 4. Working quickly, gently press a marshmallow into the pool of melted white chocolate 5. With a spoon, pour white chocolate over each marshmallow until covered 6. Let the white chocolate cool and harden before decorating the face with the icing gel. To speed up the cooling process, transfer cookies to a cool baking tray and place in the fridge. 7. Enjoy your spooky creations!
