#Bounty Easter Eggs

Firstly let me say that Easter is once a year and special occasions like this are about a lot more than food so I don’t think it’s the time to be too concerned about chocolate, but so so many people have been asking me to please share my favourite Easter eggs for Kids so here are some of my favourite ones from the supermarket! I know some of these options are a bit more expensive than Cadburys or Nestlé’s eggs but I think, rather than buying multiple poor quality chocolate eggs, why not spend the same amount of money buying one really lovely good quality chocolate egg from a brand who is making chocolate the way it should be made?! With cocoa butter and milk and not trying to just maximise profits by using really cheap ingredients like palm oil 👎 In the end of the day, chocolate is not supposed to be made with Palm oil and I think it’s very sad that Cadbury’s is not the same quality that it used to be… once Mondelez International bought the company they’ve been putting profit over people by making cheaper and cheaper chocolate using palm oil and lower cocoa solids so it’s not even technically allowed to be called milk chocolate in the EU with only 20% cocoa solids! You can buy really gorgeous milk chocolate that has 30 to 32% cocoa solids and no palm oil like the lindt Gold bunny which Kids love, they also do an Easter egg with the gold bunny’s inside 🙌 I particularly love the Butlers bunny for kids. It’s a really fun size so kids will be excited to get it and it’s good quality chocolate with 32% cocoa solids and made with no palm oil 🙌 For older kids/adults who prefer milk chocolate the Lily O’Briens, simply better Dunnes eggs, & Toblerone are great options too. I didn’t have time to talk about eggs for adults but if you like dark chocolate there are some lovely ones, and the Dunnes simply better range has a gorgeous single origin Colombian 70% chocolate egg.
