did any of these surprise you? This is what MS can actually look like and it’s probably not what you’re picturing . . . #multiplesclerosis #chronicillness

It is incredibly frustrating to feel like your brain isn’t working the way it used to, and it is very common to feel this way with Multiple Sclerosis. Up to 70% of people with MS experience some form of cognitive change, often referred to as “brain fog” or “cog fog” #fyp #multiplesclerosis #cognitivesymptoms #invisibleillness #brainfog

No, I didn’t start medication, but I was very close when I experienced that flare (or relapse — who knows) a few years ago. I was barely able to walk or stand on my left leg. It lasted almost 4 weeks, and it was the scariest thing to experience just 3 years after my diagnosis. I didn’t take painkillers, and I’m not sure if they would have made a difference. What I did was increased my Vitamin D supplement and rested. I had faith that this was just temporary and that I needed to take better care of myself. I did gentle exercises at home when I could, I meditated, I took Epsom salt baths, and I went to bed every night praying that the next day I would be able to walk again. That experience taught me that we are stronger than we think and that everything — all the pain and suffering — is just temporary… And that our bodies are incredible and capable of healing. 🧡 #mshope #msawareness #ms #multiplesclerosissupport #multiplesclerosis

🧡It was a process & a journey being diagnosed! I just wanted answers so bad. Everyone said, “It’s just a pinched nerve.” Glad I didn’t listen! #ms #mswarrior #msfighter #mssymptoms #multiplesclerosis

Looking back, I can see it now. The signs were there long before my diagnosis I just didn’t know what they meant. Here are a few things I brushed off: 1️⃣ Fatigue that felt like cement in my bones. 2️⃣ Numbness and tingling that came and went. 3️⃣ Vision changes I blamed on “tired eyes.” 4️⃣ Random dizziness that made me feel “off.” 5️⃣ The quiet thought that something deeper was wrong. I share this because so many of us minimize our symptoms until our bodies scream loud enough that we finally have to listen. If you’re in that space right now… please don’t ignore what your body’s trying to tell you. 🖤 #LifeWithMS #MSAwareness #ChronicIllnessCommunity #MultipleSclerosis #InvisibleIllness #AutoimmuneStrong #WomenWithMS #ChronicFatigue #HealingJourney #ChronicFitJourney

MS symptoms that don’t always look serious… but feel impossible to ignore. Foot drop, internal vibrations, slurred speech, fatigue, eye twitching — this is what Multiple Sclerosis can actually feel like. Living in a body that doesn’t always cooperate. Which one do you deal with? #MultipleSclerosis #MSSymptoms #ChronicIllness #InvisibleIllness #MSLife

Have YOU felt any of these before? Leave a comment sharing your experience + let’s support one another 🫂 I’ve felt every single symptom mentioned 🥴 sometimes all at once! Currently I’m dealing with buzzing in my fingertips, but I believe that’s related to ✨pushing✨ myself to declutter so we can start renovating our condo! I’m learning to not over do it to the point of exasperation 🥲 A few MS symptoms include: ⚡️ Fatigue ⚡️ Constant buzzing in extremities ⚡️ Muscle pain + cramps ⚡️ Difficulty walking or balancing ⚡️ Blurred, doubled, or even loss of vision And that’s just 5 from a very VERY long list of symptoms 😅🤌🏼 It’s important to note that MS is different for everyone so if you don’t have these symptoms that doesn’t mean you will get them 🫶🏼 in addition, many MS symptoms overlap with other autoimmune conditions so it’s also possible that you may experience these and not have MS! Wild isn’t it?! March is MS Awareness month, so please share to spread awareness! 6 months ago I got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and in this video I’m simply sharing my experience so far, together with some positive vibes. If you’re currently struggling with any physical or mental disease, remember there is always a way. For me personally, healing from my MS has been and always will be a choice. My life, my rules. Stay optimistic and never become the victim. A few natural approaches that have personally helped me so far: 1. Sleep is KEY. Anything below 8 hours is too little. 2. Yoga 3 to 4 times a week. 3. Reduced high-intensity sport (Muay Thai) to a maximum of 3 times per week. 4. Studied different natural MS healing approaches for nutrition and created my own version. 5. Acupuncture 1 to 2 times a week. Please share this with anyone you think may need some positive vibes and advice. If I can inspire even just one person with this video, my goal is already achieved. You guys never need to feel sorry for me, because I don’t feel sorry for myself either. Love, Thomas ❤️

it’s not easy having multiple sclerosis most people are misinformed and unaware of this disease I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. The complications alone is enough for depression and a feeling of uncertainty to sit in very strong. again, I will state over and over people are going through this disease not because they deserve to have it, which is so wrong to tell someone they have it because it happened and we don’t know why we have many speculated reasons to why we may have it, but there’s no actual confirmed study that says what causes multiple sclerosis. There is no known cure, even though we have things that will ease the symptoms that may appear as if the symptoms disappeared with a diet symptoms can be managed, but it doesn’t permanently erase the disease. there is no cure. is either you have MS or you don’t or maybe you never did in the first place many people are misdiagnosed so you gotta keep that in mind as well once you are confirmed with this disease that’s it. It’s live with it or die. The ups and downs with this disease is so frustrating. One minute you’re feeling on top of the world and one minute you just wanna die.
