I don’t think I’ll ever quite get used to this… Cece travelled all the way from the USA to spend a week here with me at Ironbridge. A whole week dedicated to printmaking, learning, experimenting, and just getting stuck in. We planned everything around her — a completely tailored workshop — moving through collagraph, drypoint, lino reduction, and etching. Just the two of us, working solidly side by side. It was full on, but honestly… such a brilliant amazing week. I’m so touched that someone would travel that far to come and learn with me. It really means more than I can put into words. And then something even more special — Cece commissioned Oscar and Archie to create their very first etchings. Watching them be part of that, and seeing their work valued like that… that’s something I’ll never forget. This is what it’s all about for us. Yes, it’s a business — but it’s also people, connection, family, and the relationships we build along the way. I only wish I’d taken more photos… but sometimes that’s a sign you were too busy enjoying the moment. Cece — thank you. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you and printmake with you!!!
